Hi Everyone! My name is Tiffany and I am a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences double majoring in Economics and Sociology with a minor in Pre-Business. I am originally from the San Francisco Bay Area of California. I have interned in a variety of industries ranging from technology, fashion, hospitality, consulting, and PR. I have a sore spot for shopping, the Backstreet Boys, and chocolate. I enjoy reading celebrity gossip, Jeffrey Deaver thrillers, and about new social media trends in the news. Most recently I interned at the PR firm Burson-Marsteller where I worked in the Intel account. I will also be writing and managing the WIC LitUp Blog . Follow me on twitter @tiffsiu 🙂
Angela is studying abroad in Buenos Aires this semester!
Tiffany Engsell-WIC Events
Tiffany is the Vice President of Women in Communications and a senior in the Media, Culture, and Communication Department. She is minoring in Law and Society. After graduating in May 2010, she plans to work for a nonprofit organization or as a legal assistant and eventually go on to law school. Tiffany has previously interned at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office and the ACLU in Philadelphia. Currently, she is a legal intern at a trusts and estates firm in Manhattan.
Martina Lee- TV/Movies
Martina is a sophomore studying Media, Culture, and Communication at Steinhardt. Outside of class, she is a Peer in Career at NYU’s Wasserman Center for Career Development and an intern at FerenComm, a television public relations firm. She has previously held internships at the New York International Children’s Film Festival and Questus (marketing/market research). Martina hopes to work in the film or television industry after graduation.
Jessica Li-Media Commentary
Jessica loves to talk (and joke!) – be it banter (puns!), debate, or haphazard expatiation upon the etymology of eccentric vocabulary. When she’s not losing herself in various media of artistic escapism, she indulges in her dessert fanatic tendencies and challenges you to leg press matches. As the former president of the Stern and Tisch Entertainment Business Association, she’s dedicated to adding some extra punch (and contacts!) to WIC and marketing.

Colleen is currently a sophomore majoring in Media, Culture, and Communications and minoring in Politics. Though she grew up in New Jersey, she has definitely found her home here in Manhattan. Currently, she is a contributing writer and intern for CollegeFashion.net, as well as the Circulations Manager for the “Washington Square News.” She loves fashion, reading, yoga, and embarrassingly bad shows like The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She hopes to eventually work in television broadcast journalism, so look out for her in the future on your TV news!
