pageantplace.jpgIs Trump running out of money? That’s the only reason I can think of for this horrible new “reality” show, Pageant Place.

I guess since no one cares about pageants anymore (did people ever care?), Trump decided to create a show that would forever ingrain these women in our society. Miss USA Tara Conner’s coke scandal is the most attention the Miss Universe Organization has received in years and Trump, of course, capitalized on that. No one even remembers the names of these pageant girls a day after they’re crowned… unless, of course, they go the Vanessa Williams route. Scandal is the only thing that gets them noticed. A “reality” show takes it to the next level.

The premise of the show is that 2007’s Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss Universe all share an apartment (in Trump Place, natch). The twist: Trump has invited Tara Conner (Miss USA 2006) to live and tour with the girls. Miss USA 2007 is enraged because now she has to share her reign with Tara when she was hoping to present a fresh, clean face to the organization and leave Tara and her baggage behind.

I hate to admit it, but I’ll probably be tuning in next week… this show has all of the qualities I love to hate in these ridiculously addicting MTV shows.
